Use the Object Inspector to edit property values and event-handler links. Object Inspector terdiri atas dua page yaitu Property dan Event.
Delphi object inspector code#
F11 moves the focus to the filter box on the Object Inspector, and toggles between the Object Inspector and the last active form or Code Editor file. Object Inspector Delphi Object Inspector dipergunakan untuk mengubah nilai property dari objek terseleksi yang ada dalam form Designer. I would like to see the alternatives before considering purchasing the above so I can weigh up my other options and compare the pros and cons between different component libraries. Use the Object Inspector to examine and edit the properties and events for the currently selected object or objects. So far the only component I have found that comes close is the Berg NextInspector found here: which allows filling the Object Inspector with your own data:

What I don't need though is an Object Inspector that displays properties from a component class, but instead I want to populate the Object Inspector with my own fields and types. I searched in the Delphi help and didn't find any suitable keyboard shortcut.
But most of the time when designing a form I only want: Inspector <-> Design.I think the best GUI design option here would be something similar to the trusty Delphi Object Inspector on the Main form, it would also be easier to maintain. You can go from the form designer to the object inspector to the source editor in a circle using the F11 key: Code -> Inspector -> Design -> Inspector -> Code -> Inspector ->. There are no problems at all, except that the Object Inspector is not updating to reflect the newly changed values - It only updates when clicking back on. I am now realising that this is not the most practical solution especially with several forms, and even more to add. Object Inspector The Object Inspector, just like the Designer Surface, is an invaluable tool in the Delphi repertoire. These forms work in a similar way to how a InputBox Dialog works where it displays the form, you enter a value and if the ModalResult is mrOk you handle the result accordingly. Object Inspector is a component suite containing inspectors that allow you to change anything in your application at runtime.I have several forms in a project I am working on, each form contains their own different properties and value edits such as TEdits, TTrackBars and TSpinEdits etc.
